Oops. Looks like I'm 7 weeks late into the season. What a pity. But the weeks seem to go by faster and faster. So anyway, all this early Heisman talk. Let me tell you, I have my top three candidates so far, and they are as follows; 1) Boyd 2) Mariota 3) Aaron Murray.
Would you like to know why Boyd is #1? Because he has actually played and beaten a top 5 team. Boyd's performance will really be tested on October 19, against a stellar Florida State team.
I have Mariota at 2, because even though they have truly played nobody WHATSOEVER, he is truly an amazing quarterback, putting up shocking numbers. And what really shocks me, from what I have seen, Mariota has not played in the fourth quarter all season long.
Now at third, I have Georgia's Aaron Murray. Once again, I have a Quarterback with great numbers, and unlike Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota, Murray has actually played teams that aren't crap. So here are my predictions for week 7.
Louisville vs Rutgers.
Too late to predict this one. But I was hoping for the upset of the overrated Cardinals. But I, and the Scarlet Knight fans will move on.
Louisville 24, Rutgers 10
Alabama vs Kentucky
I love to laugh at SEC homers. Cracking jokes about how other teams have "cupcake schedules". Not too hard to predict this one.
Bama 38, Wannabe Wildcats 6
Oregon vs Washington
We all want Oregon to go down. But face it, they have an offense. Watch for the Huskies to keep it close, but Oregon will eventually overwhelm the Washington defense. Sigh.
Ducks 42, Huskies 31
Boston College vs Clemson
The Eagles are #1 in rushing the ball, and that could spell doom for Clemson if they are looking ahead to Florida State. However, Tajh Boyd and company will come prepared for this one. But the Tigers will really be tested next week. But after all, Eagles aren't supposed to run much.
Tigers 51, Ostriches 20
Stanford vs Utah
Look out Stanford, don't look past the Utes. We all know you are excited about UCLA in a week, and rightfully so. Then maybe will you have something to brag about. But until then, keep your eyes open. The Utes keep it close for some time, but Stanford eventually comes to their senses.
Trees 40, Utes 19
Mizzou vs Georgia
Well, we all know Missouri learned one thing from last year. Don't comment on old men football. Murray and the Dawgs take this one, but the injuries will definately have an effect on UGA.
Old Men 35, Tigers 27
Texas A&M vs Ole Miss
Texas A&M? Might as well be the Manziels. Because from what I've seen, that's all they have. But Johnny football pulls in another win, and that's all that matters to the polls.
Manziels 41, Ole Mrs. 23
Florida vs LSU
LSU's good offense vs Florida's great defense. Lets hope the Gators offense doesn't stay on the plane this time. And to LSU fans. We live in America, not France. Geaux is not a word. Have a nice day
LSU 23, Gators 14
Cal vs UCLA
Cal upset UCLA last year, so why not one more time? Unfortunately, that one time won't be tommorow.
Bruins 37, California Gurls 13
Oklahoma vs Texas
It seems every time I watch this "Rivarly" it is Oklahoma in a blowout. But Mack Brown is "desperate" to keep his job, and he attempts to keep this a close one.
Boomer Sooner 52, DesparateMacks 22
South Carolina vs Arkansas
If there were to be an upset tommorow, this would be the one. With a potentially injured Shaw, and Clowney well....being Clowney, this has the possiblity to be quite an upset.
Pigs 37, Chickies 31
Baylor vs Kansas State
This always seems to be a "I'll ruin your season" game, so who knows? Well, the Bears offense knows. Get ready to be pummeled KSU.
DUH BUHRS 59, Wildkitties 25
Michigan vs Penn State
Um Big Blue, I think you missed the part where you almost lost to Akron.
Penn State 30, WeAlmostLostToTheZips 21
Northwestern vs Wisconsin
For the first time in a while, the Cats look pretty legit. You would've beat the most overrated team in the country if it weren't for the cursed refs. But you'll come into this game angry. Sorry Badgers.
N'Western 31, Wisconsin 26
Iowa State vs Texas Tech
Iowa State, you got robbed by the refs. But the cyclones, though angry, won't walk out with a win against the Raiders.
Raiders 38, WeGotRobbedByTheRefs 20
Akron vs Northern Illinois
Well, Akron almost upset Michigan in the big house, but then again, it was Michigan.
NIU 44, Zips 7
Pittsburgh vs Virginia Tech
Logan Thomas is tall.
Tall Thomas 31, Pitt 13
Should be a good week of College Football, and now for a special entry:
Top 5 most overrated teams:
5. South Carolina
4. Oklahoma State
3. Michigan
2. Louisville
1. Ohio State
Have good weekend.
