Week 9 Picks and Predictions

Interesting week 8, eh? Clemson got clobbered. There were also a good number of sighting in Neyland of Visors on the ground. Alabama ruled Arkansas (yawn). Oregon gave up 38 to Washington State? Who is Washington State? Washington was dominated by the Arizona State Sun Devils. So yes, very interesting.              The most Underrated team in the country, the Ohio State Buckeyes, once again DOMINATED over an unranked team, winning by a whopping ten points. Michigan 63, Indiana 47. WHAT?????? Michigan, you need some defensive work. 47??? TO INDIANA? But then again, it's Michigan.
So FSU is legit, eh? With a dominating performance over Clemson, and the horrendous performance of Tajh Boyd, it would seem so. I guess only time will tell. Enjoy the picks.

 Kentucky vs Miss State
I guess ringing those darned cowbells just ain't workin this season.
Bells 35, Wannabe WIldcats 19

Boise State vs BYU
Well last year was a thrilling 7-6 shootout, so this year, I expect the same. Wait what is that? They aren't playing in Boise? No Aquatic-field? I bet the Broncos are feeling Blue. BYU takes this one.
BYU 34, Blue Horses 24

Louisville vs South Florida
South Florida? They have a football team?
Bright Red Birds 42, ???? 10

Tennessee vs Alabama
Tennessee football. Hmm. They hang with Georgia, and South Carolina, but then again, they hung with South Alabama. I don't know if there is a more confusing team. I don't see the upset happening, as much as I want it too, so sorry Volunteer fans. But I have a feeling they could make this a game for a while. Be careful, Elephants. I mean Tide. I mean whatever you mascot is.
ElephantTides? 38, Inconsistency 17

NC State at Florida State
If Winston comes out fired up, and the defense is consistent, this shouldn't be close. And I have a question. Why is NC States color Red? Wolves aren't Red.
Seminoles 59, Clifford-The Big Red Dogs 10

UCLA vs Oregon
Yoopee! Mariota and Oregon have a challenge at hand! Folks, I must say, I want FSU vs Oregon for the BCS title game. So I will continue to pull for these teams until I get my much wanted matchup.
Ducks 44, Bruins 27

Penn State vs Ohio State
Unless this is a blowout, I am not convinced that Ohio State should be in the top 25.
Overrated State 35, Lions 31

South Carolina vs Missouri
Missouri at number five????? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
WeAreProveThatThePollsProveNothing 31, Chicken Sandwiches 20

Stanford vs Oregon State
Perhaps the least hyped Heisman canidate is Sean Mannion, Oregon State's spectacular quarterback But that's probably because the Beavers opened the season with a loss to Eastern Washington. On the other hand, Stanford's defense shined against the shorthanded Bruins last week, so this could be a great match up.
I'm picking the upset.
Marching Mannions 30, Trees 27

Wake Forest vs Miami
Miami should not be seventh, end of story. Maybe they'll get a bowl ban for being overrated.
Sanctions 41, Drunk Deacons 16

Baylor at Kansas
Oh boy, this one should be a nail biter.
Bears 66, WhereIsOurFootballProgram 17

Clemson vs Maryland
Well I guess Boyd cracked under the pressure last week, because it wasn't his night. In any way. Maybe he and his team can earn back some respect at Turd Stadium, home of the Turtle Worshipers.
Tigers 48, Church of Turtles 22

Texas Tech vs Oklahoma
If it were in Lubbock, I would say Raiders. But this is in Norman.
Soooooooners 37, Red Raiders 28

Florida Atlantic vs Auburn
WHO IS FLORIDA ATLANTIC??? WHO?????
Awwburn 56, High School 3

Furman vs LSU
Dear Les Miles,
Please don't take a knee with five minutes left.
Sincerely, the NCAA.
LSU 55, Furry Men 7

Duke vs Va Tech
Logan Thomas is so tall, he can totally win this game with his tallness, and how tall he is. He will tower over everyone because of how tall he is, because he is tall. Did I mention he is tall???
Tall People 30, I'dBeBlueIfIWereABlueDevils 10

Vanderbilt at Texas A&M
JOHNNY FOOTBALL FINALLY LOST!!!! WHAT A ONE MAN, LOSER, STUPID TEAM! But wait, I have a confession to make. I heard from Mike Evans he was signing his own autograph in the locker room after the game. Sigh.
Manziels 45, Commodores 25

Fresno State vs San Diego State
Honestly, who cares?
Fresno State 43, Aztecs 27

E Michigan vs Northern Illinois
Nice joke folks, now give me a legit game.
N Illionois 40, E Mich 11

Oklahoma State vs Iowa State
What can I even say about this game? This was the biggest upset two years ago, and still is one of my favorite games to date. And guess what folks???? I'm picking the big, bad underdog.
CYCLONES 37, Oklahoma State 31

UCONN vs UCF
Interesting. Very interesting indeed. There is a spider on my computer screen.
UCF 41, Y U NO Beat Michigan? 6

Nebraska vs Minnesota
Minnesota did beat Northwestern last week, but puh-lease. N'Western lost to Ohio State. That says a lot.
Huskerzzzzz 38, Hole Rodents 16

Week 8 Picks and Predictions

With each day that goes by, we inch closer to another week of college football. Let me start off by saying; My picks sucked last week. But this is a new week. With the match up of the year so far. Spectacular. Should be a fun week, hopefully as exciting and unpredictable as last week. And as for the National Championship, I have who I think is going o win it all. And it ain't an SEC team.

Miami vs North Carolina
Miami? #10 in the country? Three ACC teams in the top ten? I bet the SEC homers aren't crabby at all, screaming at the rankings while they drink their "championship beer". Well anyway, Miami comes ready tomorrow night.
Miami 42, UNC 23

UCF vs Louisville
A UCF team that gave South Carolina trouble comes to town, and Louisville struggled against Rutgers. You better bet I have the knights in an upset.
WeAlmostBeatSCar 30, Birdies 24

Arkansas vs Alabama
Roll Tide! Roll Tide! Roll Tide! Well at least they aren't conference homers like the other SEC bottom feeders. But dear Bama fans; Try not to be too obnoxious about this win. It's Arkansas.
RollTide 49, Arkansas 7

Washington State vs Oregon
Washingon State?
Ducks 53, Washington State 17

Iowa vs Ohio State
We are national champions! Not Buckeyes. You are not National contenders, much less Champions.
#Overrated 38, Hawkeyes 20

LSU vs Ole Miss
Upset Alert! Ole Mrs. can be pretty pesky. Especially with that "Nkemdiche" or whatever his name is. (Who listened to his Mom and ended up on a 6-6 team) Is LSU prone to an upset Saturday? I'd say Tiger fans shouldn't be very worried. But really LSU fans. It's go. Not Geaux. I's really irritating hearing people say that. Now stop.
Tigers of DEAF Valley 34, Mama's boys 19

Auburn vs Texas A&M
Manziel. Heisman. Johnny football. One "Johnny" can't carry a whole team forever. But I think; as much as I want Auburn to win, A&M puts together a much needed team effort to slip past Auburn. But one thing. Auburn? Tigers or War Eagles? You can't have two mascots.
Manziels 37, War Tigers 30

UCLA vs Stanford
If this game were at the Rose Bowl, I'd pick the Bruins. Brett Hundly looks pretty legit, but they will need a complete effort to get past the Trees at their place. Stanford lost to Utah last week. Nuff said. But I'm done with Trees. Out with the overrated Cardinal!
Trees 35, UCLA 34- I'm not done with Trees!

South Carolina vs Tennessee
The Volunteers are sick of being told they suck. But lets be honest. They suck. But maybe, they can hang with SCar for a while. I'm not sure though. The visors are quite unpredictable.
Cocks 45, WeUsedToBeTennessee 21

Iowa State vs Baylor
Baylor's offense wasn't quite the same against the Kansas State Wildcats, but maybe this could be their redemption game. What is that you say? Iowa State is 87th in scoring defense? Oh no.
Bears 56, Iowa State 28

Florida vs Missouri
No James Franklin? Florida's defense? Bad combination for Mizzou.
Crocodiles 24, WENEEDJAMESFRANKLIN 17

Georgia vs Vanderbilt
Well the Bulldogs lost to Missouri I see. If Georgia doesn't get Gurly back soon, their season could be over. But it doesn't quite end Saturday.
UGA 33, SEC SEC SEC 20

Texas Tech vs West Virginia
Remember this game last year? Texas Tech routed the top ten ranked Mountaineers. But really. Don't be ridiculous West Va fans. Texas Tech never chokes. They won't lose to a West Va team that was shut out 37-0 by Maryland....or will they?
Raiders 41, I'mMarriedToMySisters 20

UNLV vs Fresno State.
Oh, Fresno is in the Moutain West? That explains a lot
The New Boise State 52, UNLV? 17

Oklahoma vs Kansas
Kansas Football. That is all.
Sooners 59, JAYYYYYY Hawks 20

Washington vs Arizona State
Oh Washington. You tested Oregon. And you could've won it, right? I can't tell if this team is overrated or not but....YOU SHOULD HAVE BEAT STANFORD.
Washington 38, Arizona State 35

TCU vs Oklahoma State
TCU has almost beaten a ranked team; Oklahoma, in a heart breaker for Horned Frog fans everywhere. They also hang with LSU. So, watch out Cowboys. Always remember, you lost to West Va.
Cowboys 27, Unicorn Frogs 24

Northern Illionois vs Central Michigan
Who honestly cares about this game?
NIU 44, WhatOnEarthIsAChippawa 17

Wisconsin vs Illinois
Are the Badgers for real? If they lost to Ohio State, the answer is a resounding no.
Wisconsin 45, Illini 31

Extra Picks;
Ga Tech 31, Syracuse 17
Notre Dame 32, USC 24
Cinncinnatti 21, Connecticut 9
N'Western 28, Minnesota 13
Maryland 30, Wake Forest 21
Duke 34, Virginia 28
Oregon State 45, Cal 20

And now for the Game of the Week:
#5 Florida State vs #3 Clemson
Clemson has Tajh Boyd. Florida State has Jameis Winston. Clemson has Vic Beasley. Florida State has LaMarcus Joyner. This is a game truly stacked with talent. And interesting coach names as well. Dabo vs Jimbo. I'm going to call this the ACC championship, as well as the Bo' Bowl.
The hype for this top-5 match up has been rising ever since the Tigers beat Georgia, and freshman quarterback Jameis Winston has been on a roll. But the Tigers D has taken a step up from last year, will it be enough to stop the sensational Winston?
Death Valley, SC. Where BCS hopes and dreams, come screeching to a halt, shrivel, and die. The Clemson crowd even is attempting to break the loudest sports event record, which is currently 137.6 decibels. But perhaps this is the biggest game of the year, because in this game, the winner still has a shot at the championship. The loser is done for in terms of championship hopes. (But in the SEC, a one loss team is still legit for some reason).
Can Winston handle a hostile environment such as this? Only time will tell. But don't forget Clemson has a star quarterback of their own. Tajh Boyd, senior quarterback. Breaking records with every game it seems, this duel threat QB is Clemson's hope to win this game. He knows this is his last chance, his last year to win it all at Clemson, and the pressure is on him. Get ready for the ACC's big show Saturday  night.
My prediction? This is a coin-flip for me. The winner would be inevitable to pick in a game such as this. Plus I don't want FSU/Clemson fans calling me "bias" or whatever. But expect a high scoring, extremely close, hard fought game. I can't wait.
I sadly have no pick for this game.

And now for the special top 5:
Top 5 most annoying fan bases:
5) Florida
4) South Carolina
3) Georgia
2) Alabama/Ohio State
1) Anyone that chants SEC.

Have a nice weekend!

BCS Championship Talk and Week 8 Preview

So all of this talk about 5 teams. Who will win the championship? Alabama, Oregon, Clemson, Ohio State, or Florida State? Good question.
Well, either Florida State or Clemson will be knocked out of tile conversation next week, and there's no predicting who. But the Seminoles are favored by 3.
Ohio State? Tile contender? Good one ESPN.
Oregon hasn't played anybody except Washington. If they beat Stanford, than a championship is possible.
Alabama? You gave up 42 points to a one man team. Step it up.
Clemson seems to be the only top 5 team who plays anybody. Sigh. Now, Alabama has to play a "stout' Arkansas team that was crushed by South Carolina. Yeah, crushed by the team that almost lost to Kentucky. Cute. Alabama should have their way next week.
Louisville faces Central Florida Saturday evening, in a possible upset alert. UCF did almost beat Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks.
And as expected, Oregon faces yet again, some very "stellar" competition. The Wazzou Wildcats. To be honest, I don't care about this game at all, whatsoever. I'll be too busy watching Florida State vs Clemson.
Auburn vs Texas A&M- Dear Auburn, PLEASE BEAT A&M, I'VE HAD ABSOLUTELY ENOUGH OF THIS ONE MAN TEAM! -Sincerely, Me.
And South Carolina. Remember, this Volunteer squad nearly beat he Georgia Bulldogs. Be on he lookout.
Missouri should murder Florida.
On Thursday night, yet another top-10 ACC team squares off at 7:30. The Hurricanes take on the 1-4, (0-2) Tar Heels. Although the game is in Chapel Hill, don't expect a close one.

I'll see you guys later with my picks and predictions for week 8 on Wednesday.

Top 5 teams that talk trash about other teams playing cupcakes when they only play garbage teams:
5) Louisville
4) Oregon
3) South Carolina
2) Ohio State
1) Alabama

PS Bama fans, Texas A&M is a one man team. Have a nice day.

Week 7 Wrap Up

Well, after a long day of college football, it's all in the books. Not very many visors were on the ground in Fayetteville, and Oregon seemed to handle Washington. Clemson was caught looking ahead, and Bama put a beatdown on Kentucky.
Many upsets occured that even I did not expect. Utah over Stanford? Almost as unrealistic as Lane Kiffin coaching a legit team.
But it happened. Penn State defeats Michigan; I called it. And as usual, the Hokies offense looked as high-scoring and explosive as usual. Johnny football (might as well rename Texas A&M athletics that) led his team to a win over mediocre Mississippi. Gasp.
Woah, Florida's offense looked stellar today against an LSU team that gave up 44 to Georgia. Shocker. But gotta hand it to the LSU defense though, they played hard.
And the other upset that wasn't too shocking was Missouri over UGA. I had a feeling that without Marshall, Gurley, Mitchell, and pretty much every other star player they have Missouri would pull it off. Bulldogs haven't seemed to match up well against Tigers this year.
Texas over Oklahoma. HAHAHAHA thats a good one!!! Wait, what is that you say? You aren't telling the joke of the century? Funny. You've got to be kidding me... Boomer freaking Sooner saved Mack Browns job. Congrats.

Well that's all for now, looking forward to that FSU vs Clemson game. Should be a good one.

Top three loveliest coaches:
3. Scott Shafer- Keep hurling 'dem curses. It's all your football progam is good for.
2. Steve Spurrier- Pick up the visor Steve.
1. Lane Kiffin- Good Trails.

Week 7 College Football Picks and Predictions

Oops. Looks like I'm 7 weeks late into the season. What a pity. But the weeks seem to go by faster and faster. So anyway, all this early Heisman talk. Let me tell you, I have my top three candidates so far, and they are as follows; 1) Boyd 2) Mariota 3) Aaron Murray.
Would you like to know why Boyd is #1? Because he has actually played and beaten a top 5 team. Boyd's performance will really be tested on October 19, against a stellar Florida State team.
I have Mariota at 2, because even though they have truly played nobody WHATSOEVER, he is truly an amazing quarterback, putting up shocking numbers. And what really shocks me, from what I have seen, Mariota has not played in the fourth quarter all season long.
Now at third, I have Georgia's Aaron Murray. Once again, I have a Quarterback with great numbers, and unlike Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota, Murray has actually played teams that aren't crap. So here are my predictions for week 7.

Louisville vs Rutgers.
Too late to predict this one. But I was hoping for the upset of the overrated Cardinals. But I, and the Scarlet Knight fans will move on.
Louisville 24, Rutgers 10

Alabama vs Kentucky
I love to laugh at SEC homers. Cracking jokes about how other teams have "cupcake schedules". Not too hard to predict this one.
Bama 38, Wannabe Wildcats 6

Oregon vs Washington
We all want Oregon to go down. But face it, they have an offense. Watch for the Huskies to keep it close, but Oregon will eventually overwhelm the Washington defense. Sigh.
Ducks 42, Huskies 31

Boston College vs Clemson
The Eagles are #1 in rushing the ball, and that could spell doom for Clemson if they are looking ahead to Florida State. However, Tajh Boyd and company will come prepared for this one. But the Tigers will really be tested next week. But after all, Eagles aren't supposed to run much.
Tigers 51, Ostriches 20

Stanford vs Utah
Look out Stanford, don't look past the Utes. We all know you are excited about UCLA in a week, and rightfully so. Then maybe will you have something to brag about. But until then, keep your eyes open. The Utes keep it close for some time, but Stanford eventually comes to their senses.
Trees 40, Utes 19

Mizzou vs Georgia
Well, we all know Missouri learned one thing from last year. Don't comment on old men football. Murray and the Dawgs take this one, but the injuries will definately have an effect on UGA.
Old Men 35, Tigers 27

Texas A&M vs Ole Miss
Texas A&M? Might as well be the Manziels. Because from what I've seen, that's all they have. But Johnny football pulls in another win, and that's all that matters to the polls.
Manziels 41, Ole Mrs. 23

Florida vs LSU
LSU's good offense vs Florida's great defense. Lets hope the Gators offense doesn't stay on the plane this time. And to LSU fans. We live in America, not France. Geaux is not a word. Have a nice day
LSU 23, Gators 14

Cal vs UCLA
Cal upset UCLA last year, so why not one more time? Unfortunately, that one time won't be tommorow.
Bruins 37, California Gurls 13

Oklahoma vs Texas
It seems every time I watch this "Rivarly" it is Oklahoma in a blowout. But Mack Brown is "desperate" to keep his job, and he attempts to keep this a close one.
Boomer Sooner 52, DesparateMacks 22

South Carolina vs Arkansas
If there were to be an upset tommorow, this would be the one. With a potentially injured Shaw, and Clowney well....being Clowney, this has the possiblity to be quite an upset.
Pigs 37, Chickies 31

Baylor vs Kansas State
This always seems to be a "I'll ruin your season" game, so who knows? Well, the Bears offense knows. Get ready to be pummeled KSU.
DUH BUHRS 59, Wildkitties 25

Michigan vs Penn State
Um Big Blue, I think you missed the part where you almost lost to Akron.
Penn State 30, WeAlmostLostToTheZips 21

Northwestern vs Wisconsin
For the first time in a while, the Cats look pretty legit. You would've beat the most overrated team in the country if it weren't for the cursed refs. But you'll come into this game angry. Sorry Badgers.
N'Western 31, Wisconsin 26

Iowa State vs Texas Tech
Iowa State, you got robbed by the refs. But the cyclones, though angry, won't walk out with a win against the Raiders.
Raiders 38, WeGotRobbedByTheRefs 20

Akron vs Northern Illinois
Well, Akron almost upset Michigan in the big house, but then again, it was Michigan.
NIU 44, Zips 7

Pittsburgh vs Virginia Tech
Logan Thomas is tall.
Tall Thomas 31, Pitt 13

Should be a good week of College Football, and now for a special entry:

Top 5 most overrated teams:
5. South Carolina
4. Oklahoma State
3. Michigan
2. Louisville
1. Ohio State

Have good weekend.
